The room, while dated, was comfortable, clean and quiet. Though we could hear sounds from neighbouring rooms, it wasn't disruptive. My husband did sleep with earplugs, but I didn't and slept fine. The bed was very comfortable with lush linen and plump pillows. The shower had great water pressure and very hot water. It was useful to have a microwave, kettle and toaster to fix some easy breakfasts in the mornings. It's in a convenient part of town and an easy walk to the town centre.

Location was great. We booked a king double room and a family room. It was a short walk to each room. The rooms are set back off street, so quiet at night, and we didnt hear road traffic or pedestrian noise The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, we were very pleased. Staff couldn't have been nicer. They were very polite and helpful. I loved the bottled chilled water in fridges. Rooms and linen were very nice and clean

Wifi good Reception well staffed and friendly Easy walk from train station town hall and historic sights. Two minute walk from two supermarkets. Stayed two nights and would highly recommend

This hotel is good value for money and very central to local facilities. Even though the rooms are a little dated they are comfortable clean and with nice hot showers. Believe me I've paid more for lesser quality rooms. Bonus is that the Munster arms pub is next door. Bloody good food great service with a warm atmosphere.

Don’t judge a book by its cover!! We were so pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room. It was clean and spacious for our family of 4, with a big bathroom with big fluffy towels. It’s in a great location, (close to sovereign hill which was a bonus for us) and was really well priced. Huge bed too!
